Innovative YASLA silos - quality and reliability
YASLA is a brand of IBT GmbH, a company with many years of experience in the design, manufacture and maintenance of products that combine fibreglass and metal structures. This experience is reflected in the high quality of our silos, which is confirmed by IBT GmbH’s leading role in the number of successfully realised projects in various responsible industrial sectors.
Our company is successfully active in the manufacture of glass fibre products. During this time, we have gained invaluable experience that enables us to develop innovative and effective solutions and guarantee the high quality of our products.
Our products reliably fulfil their function in different corners of the world. They guarantee comfort and safety in every situation.
Highly qualified professionals, who are constantly improving their knowledge and skills, are regularly trained to keep up with the latest trends and technologies.
Why Yasla?
Safety and reliability
Thanks to our many years of experience in the development, manufacture and maintenance of composite equipment, we are able to fulfil uncompromisingly high requirements in terms of strength, temperature resistance and elasticity.
Feed hygiene and safety
The silage material does not react with animal feed, does not release any harmful substances and complies with international food safety standards. This guarantees high feed quality and animal health
Storage of animal feed
Yasla silos effectively protect the feed from external influences such as rodents, birds, pests, moisture and temperature fluctuations. This significantly reduces feed losses and preserves the nutritional value of the feed
All elements of the Yasla silos are made of high-quality materials, which guarantees a long service life
Yasla silos have the best thermal insulation properties of comparable products, which means that the optimum feed temperature is maintained.
The smooth inner surface of the silo is coated with a thick layer of paraffin, which makes it easier for the feed to slide and prevents it from sticking and condensing.
The glass fibre silo is designed for the storage of feed on livestock farms, both indoors and outdoors. It provides tightness and reliable protection of the feed from moisture, air, pests and birds. The tightness helps to maintain the high quality of the feed, including its flavour and nutritional value. Yasla silos prevent spoilage and minimise feed losses during storage.
In order to develop a truly new generation of equipment, we have thoroughly analysed the solutions available on the market for the temporary storage and transport of feed. We have developed a list of important measures to avoid errors in the design and manufacture of silos.

Power of the wind
Silo tanks are usually located in open areas where their construction is exposed to both light and strong winds. Therefore, damage to the structure must not occur in all wind load areas. We have taken this factor into account.
Snow load
In winter, the snow cover can reach a considerable thickness. The snow can accumulate. Neglecting such a load can be expensive. That is why we have included this as another type of combined load.
The power of the sun
Sunlight contains ultraviolet radiation, which can have a destructive effect on the laminate of the silo column. Infrared radiation can heat up the silo shell, which can reduce its resistance to stress. In addition, overheating of the compound feed leads to the degradation of its nutritional values. Therefore, the design of the silage cover must counteract the negative effects of solar radiation.
Main load
Of course, the greatest load on the silo is the weight of the feed, fuel pellets or wood chips. You should also consider the loads that occur when filling the feed and moving it down to the conveyor belt. Safety and reliability are the most important criteria in this calculation.
Simultaneous action of all loads
The worst-case scenario is the simultaneous impact of all loads. The calculations for this complicated case were carried out in full and with the utmost care.
Attempt
To confirm the results of the mathematical modelling, field tests were carried out on the silo in which the deformations of the structural elements were measured and their agreement with the theoretical model was analysed. This confirmed the accuracy of the underlying project data.
Thanks to our manufacturing processes, which are certified in accordance with the relevant standards, and the meticulous work of our outstanding team, we guarantee the highest quality of our products.
We take this approach to the manufacture of silos because we believe that safety should come first.
Our experienced specialists in adhesive bonding follow the technology and carry out all processes with the utmost responsibility.
All processes in our company are organised at the highest level. This means that we constantly monitor quality at every stage.
All our metal structures, including the silo supports, are manufactured in-house in accordance with international standards.
GRP is a unique material that combines lightness, strength and resistance to aggressive environmental conditions. This makes Yasla fibreglass silos reliable helpers for farmers who want to store their feed and other bulk materials efficiently.
The most important advantage of GRP is its resistance to corrosion. Unlike metal, it does not rust, rot or decompose under the influence of moisture and aggressive factors. This makes it an ideal material for the manufacture of silos that will keep your feed in perfect condition over a long period of time.
GRP combines lightness, strength and exceptional resistance to corrosion, UV radiation and mechanical damage. This ensures that your silo will not lose its properties over the years, even with intensive use.
Fibreglass silos are lighter than their metal counterparts, making them easier to transport and install. Yasla silos can be delivered to the customer unassembled, which reduces delivery costs. Our silos are designed to be quickly installed at the customer’s site by qualified personnel.
A glass fibre silo has a much smaller number of seams on the shell, which practically minimises the risk of water ingress. The fibreglass silo shell has only vertical seams, which can be easily sealed during installation or if necessary.
The glass fibre used for the Yasla silo shell is very thick, which, combined with the low thermal conductivity, prevents condensation from forming on the inside. As is well known, condensation on the inside of metal silos causes the lining to become wet.
